Our Story
Founded three years ago in Philadelphia by Miss Valerie Akinmoju, Free Chapel is a faith-driven nonprofit dedicated to transforming lives through compassionate action. Inspired by the belief that genuine faith is demonstrated through service, Valerie envisioned an organization where spiritual support and practical resources work hand-in-hand to uplift our neighbors in need.

What We Do

• Safe Housing: We provide temporary housing solutions for homeless families and senior citizens, offering a secure, caring environment as they rebuild their lives.

• Spiritual Support: Through Christian counseling, Bible studies, watch parties, and fellowship gatherings, we nurture spiritual growth and emotional well-being.

• Life & Career Training: Our entrepreneurial workshops and vocational education programs equip participants with the skills and mentorship needed to start businesses, advance in the workforce, and secure long-term employment.

• Community Outreach: Regular food and clothing giveaways ensure that families facing hardship have access to essential resources. Our job placement services connect candidates with local employers seeking motivated, trained individuals.
